Install this plugin as intended.
It uses underlying function of https://www.drush.org/12.x/site-aliases/

Needed alias for production fetch is @self.prod
After that ddev syncdb will fetch latest sanitized production database.

Might be worth of an idea to support other aliasses in future.

@Zionknight-crypto if there'll epic for Lando -> DDEV migration, could you try and add some of your site following https://github.com/wunderio/ddev-drupal?tab=readme-ov-file#installation and then testing if you get syncdb working with current instructions? If you find that we could update the docs for this, then we could do this here.
