Setting up Intergration for Comfee Electric Water Heater, Perset account login failed! error

Setting up the Midea AC Intergration the Device is correctly detected. After selecting the device login information is provided for Smarthome account, which is successfully loging in , but when I select again the discovered device, I'm getting the following error "Perset account login failed!" Any Suggestion is wellcome.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with connecting to a smart home, but with a midea refrigerator (MDRB521). How to solve the problem?

I made some further search for the same problem, and I found a similar thread previously posted on GitHub. The post is suggesting this problem is not directly related to a failure in logging in, but although the login is succesfull there is a failure in the communication due to an unrecognised new protocol, consequently the integration is unable to retrieve the information from the device. The error message in this case would be misleading. If this is the case, the only hope is that the developers will soon issue an update supporting the new protocol.

2. some devices feature support

Hi,
Great! after installing the new release, I was able to successfully connect my Comfee Water Heater and configure all the switches and Sensors.
Unfortunately another issue came up when trying to control the heater from homeassistant.
Whatever command I try use from homeassistant dashboard, looks like it is not executed. For instance, if I try to change the water heating temperature, whichever temperature I'm setting it's failing to set and the control (with a second or so) falls back to the previous temperature set, using the app or directly set on the Water Heater display, with te only exception of the ON/OFF switch, which is successfully turning on and off the heater.
I thought the app could have some sort of priority, so I logged out from the app and removed it from my phone, but nothing changed.
It looks like Reading is working perfectly but, no Writing is allowed from homeassistant but the ON/OFF switch.
