New Update

In light of the new update causing issues (and a workaround in the meantime) is it safe to continue updating all other packages and leave easyeffects out until the next stable update it available?

(I am like week 2 into having Linux Mint, if this is a stupid question I apologise in advance.)

The Easiest thing to do is probably wait for flathub/com.github.wwmm.easyeffects#215 to be merged. The current wave of problems is related only to the flatpak package. Native 8.0.6 packages are fine as far as I know.

It should be safe to update your system packages. The issue with the flatpak runtime probably affects only easyeffects. Few applications use Qt Graphs. EasyEffects may be the only one in your system.
