Please not below. The default stance for Calf is the have the use flags for experimental and lv2 set to off. This is why the package in question would not completely install. Once these two flag are set to enable the Calf package installs as you described. Thanks the the guys/gals of #gentoo for the solution. So I've installed Calf Studio Gear plugin, but Easyeffects doesn't see it. How do I fix this? I'm using version 8.0.5 and I'm running Gentoo Linux. So this means my plugin Base Enhancer and Stereo Tools does not work.l
