Feature request: Can add an option, to max fan on timer?? #51

Great idea @cesarcamps - and thank you for the kind words. This was already on my roadmap as "Fan Boost on a timer", and your request moved it to the front of the queue: it ships in v1.24.1, going out today. Your framing also improved it. I had it noted with longer presets only (5-15 minutes, thinking "cool the machine down after a session"), while your use case - a short burst for heat or dust with no risk of leaving the fans screaming - argued for much shorter ones. So the final control covers both: Settings → Power → "Turn Fan Boost off automatically after": 30 s / 1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 10 / 15 minutes, or a custom value up to two hours (off by default). The countdown starts however you switch Boost on - tray, hotkey, the Scenarios tile or the command line - and when it elapses the fans return to whatever the active profile or fan curve was doing, with an on-screen note and a change-log entry. Switching Boost off by hand cancels the timer. And no need to apologise for the translation - the request was perfectly clear. |

Description
Hi there,
Thank you for creating GhostDeck! It is a great lightweight alternative to the official software.
I would like to propose adding a timed variant of the existing “Maximum Fan Speed” option. The goal is to allow users to briefly force fans to 100% for rapid heat dissipation or dust expulsion, without requiring manual deactivation.
Requested Behavior
Introduce a setting that enables “Maximum Fan Speed” for a predefined short duration. After the selected time elapses, the system automatically reverts to the previous cooling profile.
Suggested Time Presets
30 seconds
1 minute
2 minutes
These short intervals minimize mechanical stress and reduce the risk of unnecessary wear or failure.
Rationale
This feature would provide a controlled, safe way to momentarily boost cooling performance or clear accumulated dust, while preventing prolonged high‑RPM operation due to user oversight.
PS: English is not my mother language, i have use a translator.
