Describe the bug
Not sure if this can be fixed because mac natural scrolling left and right natively matches windows when natural scrolling is on, but When turning off "natural scrolling" in MAC OS to fix the up/down scrolling and sequencing in xlights to match the default of a PC works fine but then it also inverts the left and right scrolling... In windows Holding the Shift key and using the mouse wheel to scroll down it scrolls right under normal circumstances.... on a Mac it scrolls left after natrual scrolling is turned off to fix the up/down. Note: When I get on a Mac I have to turn off the Natural Scrolling setting to fix the up/down scrolling so that the mouse scroll wheel matches Windows where down scrolls down and not up however apparently The left and right behaviour on a mac gets changed as well.
Ultimately This may be more of a MAC OS quirk , where both left/right and up/down are ropped into the setting and It will just never be able to match because both up/down and left/right get inverted, but if possible Can xlights be configured to have an option for this or only to obey the up/down scrolling from natural scrolling and not to obey the left/right scrolling aspect in Mac OS when turning off the "Natural Scrolling" ?
This makes it very frustrating switching between my pc and mac when navigating left and right on a sequence timeline when holding the shift key
As it is a person either have to suffer with reverse up/down scrolling with natural scrolling turned on or reverse left/right scrolling with natrual scrolling turned off.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Turn off Natrual scrolling in the Mac OS as shown in the screenshot
- You can verify that in xlights scrolling down on a mouse wheel in xlights it goes down instead of up like it does in windows
- zooming in on a sequence tineline and holding shift and scrolling up should scroll left and scrolling down should scroll right like it does in windows but this is reversed
