Can't import smd files.

Hello! So I have issue with importing SMD files, I dragged SMD file over to Cinema 4D and it errored with "This file type isn't supported" I'm using Cinema 4D R20.

Hi RealJace! R20 is actually not supported by the latest release (0.44-alpha 1304721). The readme for that release is wrong (it's since been updated on the release page).

The current state of the project is somewhat abandoned and untested, but the new code only works with R21+ and has only been tested on R21 itself... you could compile the code following the how_to_build.txt (I've tried my best to make it easy for those unfamiliar with building Cinema 4D plugins to follow). But I was thinking I might make a pre-release either way, so if there's a specific version of Cinema 4D R21 or greater that you'd like a pre-release made for please do let me know.

The newest code/pre-release is a complete rewrite, so a lot of features are missing (materials are either not-working/half-working, can't remember atm), but the core essentials are still there and the plugin is generally more stable/less bug prone.
