A modern interpretation of the classic DOS aesthetic for Linux XFCE.

Download the latest .ZIP archive by clicking the <> Code ▼ button and extract the theme folder into /home/$USER/.themes
To customize the theme’s colors, edit the hexadecimal color values in gtk-3.0/base/colors.css.
Some of these values must also be copied to xfwm4/themerc so that the GTK3 and XFWM4 themes use the same color palette.
Both files contain detailed comments explaining the necessary changes.
Mx437 IBM VGA 8x16 is the recommended font for the DOS-XFCE theme and an important part of the theme’s intended DOS look and feel.
To ensure you always have the latest version and the original license information, the font is not included in this project.

The original inspiration for DOS-XFCE came from the retro-DOS-style XFCE desktop concept developed by techiemoore.
