Twinkle Tray is currently the only thing making my hardware setup usable on Windows, and I would love to see this functionality brought over to Linux (ideally via Flatpak or rpm).
The Problem
I am using a monitor (Trendsonic) that does not have native driver support for brightness sliders in Windows or Linux. Without a tool that utilizes DDC/CI, I am forced to use the physical hardware buttons on the monitor to adjust brightness throughout the day. This is a significant friction point, so much so that the lack of a "Twinkle Tray equivalent" on Linux is currently my primary barrier to going back to Linux.
