Question: Is it possible to have auto-save for lightning components?

Hi,

For apex classes and visualforce pages we can do ctrl+s to save the file locally and HaoIDE will automatically save the file to the server. However for lightning components this doesn't happen. When I click ctrl+s it only saves the file locally. In order to send it to the server I need to right click and then click "Deploy To This Server".

Am I missing some configuration? Or is this really not available at the moment?

Currently not support, I will add it into next release, whatever, you can use shortcut to deploy lightning component by Alt + Shift + S

You can your Ctrl + Alt + S shortcut to save the lightning aura component to server or as what @xjsender said, Ctrl + Alt + S shortcut to deploy to server.

Since Salesforce has a governor limit on API Requests and any operation to the server counts, auto-save may not be a good option.
