Unable to connect to the Openfire 4.4.2 - 

I have downloaded the latest version of hubot-xmpp , and tried to connect to the openfire 4.4.2..
It got failed multiple times... 
I have found a work around for that 
My hubot is trying to use the HUBOT_XMPP_PREFERRED_SASL_MECHANISM as DIGEST-MD5, i have changed that one to PLAIN and its started working. 
Also changed the LEG-SSL mode to 0.
