Tree is losing configuration when switch files

I'm working with JavaScript files, I do uncheck everythin but the functions, check 'Sort by name', everything seems ok until I am switching to "Preferences" and back when all the symbols are here again.

The right click options are still showing only "functions" and "sort by name" checked!

I having this confusion the same now, do you have any other package that do the same work as symbols-tree-view?

Without the ability to set the configuration and have it stick, this is unusable. Unloading it.
