SSH-Agent identity does not work with fish-shell environment

Connecting to a ssh-agent identity opens a shell script using zsh, I use fish so no configuration is applied, and no ssh-add -l can work. How do I tell that script to init a fish environment?

So if I understand this correctly, you have configured the SSH agent only in your fishrc and not your .zshrc?

Correct, because I never use zsh, only fish. I know it's macOS default, but it's my preference. I created a zshrc as a workaround, but really don't want to manage two environments.
