There is no information about XMPP transports

I know that XMPP has transports allowing access to other protocols, but I cannot find information about them on XMPP.org or have any idea what would be authoritative up-to-date source on them. Meanwhile Matrix has a dedicated page on their equivalent, bridges.

I encountered this as at their livestream chat issue https://github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube/issues/3098 I consider bridges or transports as one potential reason for using Matrix or XMPP and couldn't find something to link.
