Keyboard does not work on encrypted system at start up

First: thank you for this patch! (Shame on Lenovo)

My system volume is LUKS encrypted and (understandably) udev does not load this driver before the volume is unlocked. As the keyboard is not functioning, the password cannot be entered.

Could the driver be moved to some location that is loaded right after system startup?
