Firefox adding <br> tag when adding a space at the end of line.

Using firefox when you add a space at the end of a line, a br-tag is added as well. Chrome and safari don't have this behaviour.

It's slightly tricky to filter it out server-side, since it can appear at the end of any element, but it might also be intentional.
