"Temporary failure in name resolution" does not appear to be temporary when system DNS changes

I had an Internet outage today, and Yggdrasil is failing to reconnect.

4m2s ago: lookup ygg.jjolly.dev: Temporary failure in name resolution

When I do ping ygg.jjolly.dev on the same machine I experience no troubles resolving the host and getting it pinged.

My guess would be Yggdrasil somehow caches the DNS resolver IP, and it changed after the outage, but Yggdrasil service did not pick the new server address up. It is trying to use the old resolver and failing. Just a hypothesis.
