Suppress Xcode workspace change warning

It would be good to find a way to suppress the warning that appears in Xcode when generating the project while it's open. There should be a way to do this via the way the file is written, or by not writing the workspace if it hasn't changed

One workaround for now is to embed the project in a workspace and open that in Xcode instead

That's what we do. Xcode used to be good about automatically updating when the project changed, but recently with Xcode 10 I have to manually (via a script) close and reopen the workspace to get it to refresh.
