How to toggle the footer off by default

I can toggle the footer on and off using shift+f but I would like to have the footer toggled off by default. Is this possible?

superfile rememebers your decision to toogle footer.
Just do shift + f and toggle it off once. Then every time you relaunch, it will not show footer.
