Whitespaces before login prompt on new window

For some reason there's a lot of trailing whitespace before the login prompt when openinng a new terminal window with v.9.31. This applies to urxv, urxvtc and urxvt256c. Downgrading to 9.30 fixed the issue

this is a new issue after new update

urxvt: "version": unknown or malformed option.
rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.31 - released: 2023-01-02

Also if you copy from a screen using "super-shift-c" and paste it with "super-shift-v", the pasted content does not have new line and everything is pasted in one single line
