Emacs is hard-crashing on certain requets

Hi, I have the problem that emacs is doing a hard-crash when I do an helm-ag-r on certain directories (not all).
Platform is Mac.
Can you recommend any way how I can approach this problem?

Hello, below ways are if the problem was candidates is too many.
So tell me if you have other problem.

Did you set below configuration?

(setq ;; You need to input characters for this times to search
      helm-ag-r-requires-pattern 3   ; <- this is default
      ;; Delay input
      helm-ag-r-input-idle-delay 0.5 ; <- this is default
      ;; Display candidate only you specified number
      helm-ag-r-candidate-limit 100  ; <- default is helm-candidate-number-limit

      helm-ag-r-use-no-highlight t)  : <- default is nil(t means no highlight)

If you say yes, other way is set .agignore to reduce needless file.

For example a search for game in the codebase works, but a search for req crashes with:
