pynotify on macos is not available

Hi! I run trackma-qt on macos successfully. The only minor issue I have that there is a warning: Tracker (polling): pyinotify not available; using polling (slow).
I tried to search for alternatives for pyinotify and watchdog seems to be the case

Hi, I remember looking at this cross-platform project (and also kqueue) when looking at adding support for the BSDs but from what I remember they only seemed to support watching for events regarding file/directory creation/deletion only:

I might be wrong though. What we need though is to get notified when a file gets opened/closed, which is what inotify provides.

Another option would be to see if there's something like a bus similar to MPRIS so the player could communicate with Trackma instead.
