Roadmap for how to update Escher widget for Jupyter compatibility? #397

@zakandrewking, can you provide any high-level guidance for how the Escher builder widget could be updated to work with the current Jupyter interactive widget system?
The jupyter widget github page seems to recommend anywidget.
If there were some hints about where to start, maybe we could get people in the community to chip away at it.
