TSML OMS Semantics Requirements

At present, we're updating OGC TimeSeriesML, integrating semantics from the recent OMS update. As Zarr has been requested as a TSML encoding, we'd like to explore how the TSML/OMS semantics can be supported in Zarr.

Abstracting from what we did to enable CovJSON encoding, we'd need following modifications:

• General: referencing of concepts (e.g. standard names) via resolvable URIs
• Specific semantics, adding the following concepts next to the property being conveyed:
  • usedProcedure: a re-usable Procedure used in making an Observation, typically through a Sensor.
  • madeBySensor: the Sensor which made the Observations
  • hasFeatureOfInterest: the entity whose property was observed

As a first step, it would be valuable to understand where Zarr provides the information on the property the data represents. Is there UML for this?
