interactive planning mode from claude code

First of all in debt. Thankyou for zed and acp.

Issue:

Claude code launched interactive queries based on user prompt to further simplify and include in planning before proceeding to final plan mode. Now the problem is here i think acp does not support from spec standpoint this. is there any ongoing work? this has completely changed the way we use claude code.

Possible solution

to generalise as we will also have similar/better implementation in opencode can we have agent ui protocol which enables custom user interactions.

Hi @JayGhiya are you referring to the new planning subagent?
I need to update to the latest version of Claude Code and make sure everything looks good, but will do that soon.

Hi so this is the interactive planning I am talking about interative_planning_x_demo. This happens during planning mode of Main agent not sub agents and it tries to clarify all missing instructions before proceeding with the plan. And yes I forgot about sub agent plan mode that also improved the perf of sub agents we should add that too.

The plan mode is very productive, what is the current state of support? Are the questions it asks just handled as tools calls?
