I've been using background coding agents for the last few weeks, and I can't express how helpful they are. I was a bit unsure at first. Not knowing why I'd need them when I already have AI in my editor. But hear me out…Being able to launch an agent from Raycast to fix a bug on a project is amazing! Especially for these tiny little bugs, spelling mistakes, outdated info, that you stumble upon while working on something else. It's as fast to just prompt an agent to fix it as it is to track it (and probably forget about it).
Both GitHub Copilot and Cursor have released their coding agent extensions this month! I highly encourage you to try them out!

It would be great to see similar support in Zed as it is my preferred editor
