Cannot update to 1.9.0 easily

Reproduction steps

1. Start Zed
2. Header shows "Downloading Zed Update", trying to update to 1.9.0
3. Mouse-over just reports no action able to be taken

Current vs. Expected behavior

Been stuck for a few days on version 1.8.2 macOS Tahoe 26.4.1.

Expected to be able to update.

Additional context:

I've tried restarting the editor several times, but haven't really tried to purge it manually.

The only thing that I can think of that may have caused it is something interrupting the background download and it never updating the application state somehow.

Doesn't want to seem to auto-resume, whatever the case.

It's working now. Maybe I didn't close the editor all the way, before.
