File > Close Project intermittently does not close the project

Reproduction steps

1. Open Zed.
2. Open a project.
3. Open the File menu.
4. Select “Close Project”.
5. Repeat these steps until the issue occurs.

The issue is intermittent and does not happen every time. When it occurs, selecting “Close Project” appears to do nothing, and the project remains open.

Current vs. Expected behavior

Current behavior:

Sometimes, selecting File > Close Project has no effect. The currently open project remains open, with no visible error or notification.

Expected behavior:

Selecting File > Close Project should always close the current project.

The issue happens to me also in the stable sometimes though less frequently for some reason
