The "navbar" at the top of every nitter page always stays fixed at the top of your screen when you scroll down (and even with javascript disabled).
I'd like to therefore suggest the option that redlib has, that being a checkbox for "Keep navbar fixed" which behaves much like nitter's existing "Make profile sidebar stick to top" setting behaves, except applied to the top navbar of course.
Here's some examples regarding redlib if you need them (the settings page alone should be long enough to work for testing as shown in my screenshot, but I included /r/amdnews as an additional test example because it's basically abandoned and therefore doesn't change):
