I also thought it was a bug when I tried, but after some research I came across this discussion... Would be pretty nice to have it as a feature soon though |

Previously raised as #9035.
When I right click on a split view, the "Add to Essentials" option is missing. When I drag such a view to Essentials, it shows the "cursor" for it, but after releasing the view, it jumps to pinned tabs in the current space instead.
This is especially unexpected since it shows the "cursor" in Essentials (this makes me think it's a bug?), indicating that this should be possible:
In Arc, this functionality works as expected:
It would be good to have this in Zen as well - for example, to pin both the mail and the calendar view in something like Outlook or Gmail.
It looks like #6273 might be the same issue, but it was closed by an automation.
