How could you already do this ? as far as I know ther is only 3 split options vertical, horizontal and grid style |

Can you add a binary tree style layout? When 4 windows are split the last 2 at the bottom will be placed in a horizontal position. It is a mix of grid and vertical layout. This is similar to what BSPWM has. When you split 3 tabs it will be a normal grid layout, but when you split 4 the last two will be in a horizontal position. The keybinding for this could be CTRL-SHIFT-B
