macOS vertical tabs navigation question

So I have Zen set to have the compact icons on the left side ( see screenshot ) and I have a general question about tab navigation. Option + Command and left/right arrow keys works to switch between spaces - this is awesome. Option + Command and up/down arrows switches between loaded tabs only, and skips over unloaded tabs. Is there a preference / config to always switch the next / previous tab, regardless of whether it is loaded or not? This would match how vertical tabs navigation works in Firefox with vertical tabs enabled.
