Linux/cachyOS right click context menu on web pages and top bar will not remain open consistently

What happened?

When using zen and I try to right click on a webpage(I often take screenshots and view source code/inspect for work) the context menu will not always open. It will also not work when trying to open an extension or any link button/tab in the top bar(settings, bitwarden, downloads, VPN, etc...).

Expected behavior

context menu should remain open when right clicking on a web page or in the top bar

Actual behavior

context menu flashes open and then closes or will open but only for a few seconds and then closes

Steps to reproduce

open zen on cachyos -> right click on any web page OR try to open any top bar item(downloads, settings, extension)

I use Zen on CachyOS as well and don't recognise the issue. So let's see if we can find what is different to your situation that might cause this. Perhaps an extension I don't have or an issue with the profile/config.

• Could you share an export of about:support in a <details> </details> block.
• Can you try in troubleshooting mode to rule out extensions? (menu > help > troubleshoot mode)

Have you considered using the Zen package from the CachyOS repo instead of the appimage btw?

I have a similar issue, sometimes the context menu doesn't show up at all, other times, it will open this strange overlay (it is transparent due to my gtk theme - it persists even on different gtk theme)

@x-9917638 Could you try with your custom userChrome disabled? (setting toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to false and restarting)
Or another option is testing in ... menu > help > troubleshoot mode. This also disables all extensions so we can rule those out.
