Window Tab Managment breaks when using "Switch to Tab" with multiple windows

• I have searched existing issues and avoided creating duplicates.
• I am not filing an enhancement request.
• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
• I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

What happens:

All the Tab Management things do not work anymore - switching tab, opening new tab
instead, you are stuck on the currently open tab

Steps to reproduce:

• open 2 Windows.
• open Tab in Window-1 - e.g Github.com
• go to Window-2 and search for "Github" - use "Switch to Tab"

Window-1 is now broken, you can no longer open new windows

Might be Linux specific, cannot repro on Windows (v 1.11.3b). Switching to a window 1 tab from window 2, pulls window 1 in focus and switches to the tab.

Happens to me on Windows 1.11.3b - it opens the tab rather than switching Windows / Tabs ...

Ah yes, I know. But I am suspecting that these are all symptoms of a single deeper problem - tabs in containers/workspaces and multiple windows don't work well together. Fixing the underlying issue solves all of these issues...
