Terrible performance on Power Saving mode

• I have read the instructions.
• I have searched existing issues and avoided creating duplicates.
• I am not filing an enhancement request.
• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
• I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

Basically, when the power profile (using power-profiles-daemon) is set to power saving. The browser becomes extremely laggy. I checked with firefox as well and there it's not the case. I'm attaching screenshots for reference.

Maybe it is your OS recognizing zen as some unimportant app and limiting its resource usage. Better also to report to OS devs for a proper solution.

I'll try manually setting the priority and report back. I'm using Fedora Workstation 42 for reference.

So i launched zen. Checked it's PID using btop and then used renice -20 $PID. But it's still the same
