Downloading Zen from webpage gives installer for wrong CPU architecture

I've noticed that downloading the installer from the website gives me the x86_64 version rather than the ARM64 version on my WoA device. I have to go to the github to get the ARM64 installer. Perhaps it should detect this automatically? or perhaps provide a choice when downloading if that is easier.

I thought this was strange, but i tested also in Zen and Helium as well just to be sure, none of them mention ARM64 at all.

at the risk of telling you something you already know, I did find this on the learn.microsoft website:

There are two approaches for sites to access user agent information:

User-Agent strings (legacy).
User-Agent Client Hints (recommended).

it seems perhaps they never bothered to add ARM to the string because they want you to use client hints? it seems Firefox lacks support for them at the moment unfortunately. But checking via this website in Edge: https://browserleaks.com/client-hints

it gives me the following:

platform Windows
platformVersion 19.0.0
architecture arm
bitness 64

(not the whole table, but you get the idea)

Weird, because your UA shows its on x64... Not sure how the site you linked could correctly identify it

The website i linked uses Client Hints to get the info, not the User Agent. apparently, Client Hints are supposed to be the successor to User Agents, but haven't been adopted by Firefox yet

I clicked the link and tried downloading it, it seems to have worked correctly and given the ARM64 installer in any Chromium browser I tested. But in any Firefox-based browser it still just gives me the x86_64 installer

I think it's not really possible to detect ARM64 on a firefox browser right now, and that's probably the best I can do :(

Thank you for trying!! I suppose we'll just have to wait for Mozilla to add Client Hints, perhaps in the meantime a small warning on the download page could be added? It would be bad if someone got the wrong architecture and assumed it was just Zen's fault!!
