It's been a while since the last release, so I thought I'd give you an update on what's been going on behind the scenes.
I know some of you might be wondering why there haven't been any new versions yet. Well, the truth is, we've been working hard on some really exciting improvements, and we're just about ready to share them with you!
One of the things we've been focusing on is the user experience when you're adding commands. We've noticed that opening a new window to select a section just felt a bit too many steps, and none of the views really gave you a clear overview of all the capabilities that Keyboard Cowboy offers.
So, in version 3.27.0, we're making some changes to fix this issue. We're replacing the "new command window"-flow with a menu button, which should make things a lot easier and more intuitive.
Now commands are neatly stored into categories that fit the commands.
And guess what? Eagle-eyed viewers might have noticed the new
Raycastmenu. I'm always on the lookout for ways to make Keyboard Cowboy even more useful, so I'm working on a way to interact with other applications. In this new version, Keyboard Cowboy will check out your installed Raycast extensions and give you a handy menu to add them and launch them using URL schemes. This next release is packed with exciting features! I can't wait to see what you create with it. Here are some of the highlights:
