Support for Raspberry Pi first models (BCM2835)

Hi, I would like to discuss the interest of adding support for the BCM2835, leading to the addition of the "old" RPi boards to the supported boards list in the long term.

I'm aware it comes with its lot of challenges (old architecture, weird boot sequence, etc.) but it is still a reference board for a lot of people. Is this something that already has discussed or even started at some point? I might look into it at least for my personal experience but I'd like to know if it's an architecture that has its place upstream and if it's worth the effort.
