GPIO Toggle using M7 Core on i.MX95EVK

I am trying to toggle GPIO_IO16 (GPIO2) using M Core. Since by default this resource is listed under A55 core, I modified mx95evk.cfg file of imx-system-manager and rebuilt and flashed the image. Next, I created a board overlay file in my zephyr application to modify the dts of imx95evk. I added an led0 node, enabled &gpio2 by setting the status to okay and then deleted sai3_default and sai3 node due to iomux/pin mux. Moving forward, my main.c is same as blinky's source code. However, my gpio_pin_configure_dt is returning ENOTSUP. Can someone please help me out here? I am a little new to Zephyr and would really appreciate some support!
