Add update information to allow AppImageUpdate fulfill its function

Adding an update information, among other related functionalities maybe, will facilitate AppImageUpdate to execute its function to easily download updates to Pomatez. The current option to download the Pomatez's appimage still works. AppImageUpdate just makes it a lot less cumbersome.

I don't know why you injected this advertisement on this topic since your app does not address the issue specified in the original post and in fact exhibits the same exact absence of update information needed by AppImageUpdate. Perhaps you can provide an explanation or provide information on whether you plan to resolve the problem in the future, either on this project or yours.

@guidomz You're right to point that out, and I apologize for the confusion my comment may have caused.

My intention was never to advertise or hijack this thread. I mentioned my fork simply because I genuinely love this project and wanted to share that I've been continuing work in a related direction — it came from enthusiasm, not promotion. I should have been more thoughtful about the context.

As part of the work I've been doing, I've fully ported the app to Rust and updated it to the latest libraries, which opens up better opportunities to address issues like this one.

Regarding the specific issue you raised about AppImageUpdate metadata support: that's a fair and valid point. I'll review your request carefully and get back to you on whether and how it can be addressed.
