Question about the model applied on AD Dataset?

Amazing work! I have one question to ask.

Can EnvGS be applied to AD datasets (like Waymo Dataset)? Because there are fewer viewpoints of a certain car and the number of Gaussian primitives may be large, I am not sure that will be a better result than the original 3D-GS. Does anyone conduct such experiments and how is the experimental results?

I haven't tried EnvGS on AD datasets myself. I'm curious about the sparsity of "fewer viewpoints" you mentioned, how many views are there, approximately?

Normally, EnvGS performs better than 3dgs on scenes with specular reflections. You can try EnvGS following the commands in Custom Datasets, these commands have been extensively tested, should work fine.

An example video is attached. The vehicles are more distant and in most cases we can only observe the rear. But somehow the reflections are obvious (the buildings and trees), so I am just curious about how EnvGS works in such cases.

Plus, I will follow the commands in Custom Datasets to see the excellent results~
