Build a container image

I want to ship the OTel Collector as a container image to run it on Docker or Kubernetes

Let's start from what we have now, and see if there's room for improvements:

I am using chainguard images as base image.

I would be great to build an image for amd64 and arm64 binaries.

On Docker Desktop, building a multi arch image is easy as:

However, ko seems a great tool to create Docker images for Golang projects, I should learn more

Revelation! ko is such a great tool to build containers out of Go apps!

I can make multi-arch build in a breeze now:
