nightTab settings and theme reset after browser restart even when cache clearing is disabled (Edge)

I’m having an issue where nightTab always resets to its default state after restarting the browser. According to the documentation, nightTab stores all data locally and will reset if browser cache or site data is cleared. However, in my case, the reset still happens even when cache and site data clearing are completely disabled. What I have already tried disabled Clear browsing data on close (all options OFF), Manually avoided clearing: Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, Disabled tracking prevention features that may clear site data, Disabled all cleaner/privacy extensions, Tested with only nightTab installed, Restarted Edge normally (not InPrivate), Despite all of this, nightTab still resets its theme and settings every time Edge is closed and reopened.
