Bonding causes mug to disconnect

I saw here that apparently bonding messes up android? I've definitely had issues connecting with via my phone when using the app from desktop chrome, but also this causes the web app on desktop to disconnect after clicking the button.

Is this a known issue as well?

On desktop I only used the app once, so I can't recall sorry. I think I remember it did allow me to connect without prompting, as was the intent of the bonding feature. It doesn't disconnect on Android, but also it doesn't help with auto-connecting, because I believe the Chrome-on-Android Bluetooth API just doesn't allow this today.
