The page https://docs.zowe.org/stable/user-guide/api-mediation/using-api-mediation-layer says

You can configure Zowe without certificate setup and run Zowe with verify_certificates: DISABLED.

There is no such property.
Zowe YAML contains a property instead called "zowe.verifyCertificates".
