I issued the display console command - and did not get the status displayed.
Operator/automation would use this to display what is not running, so they can fix any problems

I see ZWEL011I is " name = %16.16s, PID = %d"
In a vacuum it's a bit of a vague message, but I think you're hoping to learn more about which component has which PID.

I'm not sure how useful that PID is. There's some shell wrapping of servers, so it may not be a significant PID.
But, I think that yes, having a clear component-to-PID message is useful and useful to see in the syslog.
I am moving this to the launcher repo for more investigation.
