What happened to autodraw and hardware eraser?

Hello!

I use Excalidraw in obsidian on my surface pro 8 (running Ubuntu). By default, the pen mostly works but I relied on the autodraw for pen and hardware eraser support scripts to add the missing functionality. Both of them were a bit hit-or-miss on functionality, but they were the best options to fill those requirements. I noticed that the scripts were removed from the excalidraw plugin list a few weeks ago and I can't find any reasoning as to why. Why were these removed and are there any alternatives to get these pen features working?
