High resource usage with authenticating proxy

Describe the bug
Zulip Desktop loops while attempting to access sentry.io (automatic updates?) when the authenticating proxy returns a 407 (Authentication Required). Zulip Desktop tries time and time again and CPU and memory usage of Zulip goes through the roof.

To Reproduce
Have an authenticating proxy configured in the OS. Wait.

Expected behavior
Ask for username and password when the proxy returns a HTTP 407.

Sentry is for error reporting, not automatic update; I think we have a setting to disable that feature, which may resolve this for you.

That said, we should investigate this since it should be fixable.

@Amit-Firewires are you using an authenticating explicit proxy for Internet access? Otherwise you're facing another issue.
