This update marks the final v1 release of SnapDOM β a project that, in just a few months, has reached remarkable maturity and stability.
From this point forward, all development will focus on SnapDOM v2, introducing a modular plugin system that allows developers to intervene at every stage of the capture pipeline.
β¨ Whatβs new in v1.9.13
toImg()dimensions whenscale == 1, ensuring correct sizing for unscaled captures. [#254](Bug inoption.scalewhen value is 1 and exporter is toImg()Β #254)toSvg(), a clearer and more reliable replacement fortoImg().Toward v2 β A More Open Architecture
SnapDOM v2 will introduce plugins and capture hooks, allowing full control and customization of the whole capture process.
This evolution is the natural next step for a library that has grown to cover an immense and constantly changing HTML ecosystem β one where edge cases never stop appearing.
Despite this complexity, our goal remains the same:
keep SnapDOM fast, accurate, and reliable, and to fix any regressions as quickly as possible.
π Thank You
