modal inside modal not closing the parent popup

Tried intermediate modal - http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/reveal.html

when I use with my app and open the second modal from the parent modal, after closing the second modal, I still see the parent modal as it is on the screen. and the close buttons on that is not working. 

Is there any specific setting needs to be enabled for the it?
